ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTOR

Bill Meanwell, C.Ped., has been involved in the Pedorthic and Podiatric field since 1981.  Bill has worked at the management level for two of the largest orthotics labs in the country.

Bill started RX Orthotics in 1988 in Cincinnati, Ohio serving Podiatrists in the Midwest area with quality custom, and Pre-fabricated foot orthoses.  In 1999 Bill started teaching at Oklahoma State University-Okmulgee in the Pedorthic Department as an adjunct faculty member and in May of 2001 Bill took the position as Head of Pedorthic Education at OSU-Okmulgee.

Bill has served as the President of the Prescription Foot Orthotic Laboratory Association, (PFOLA), as well as serving on the Pedorthic Footwear Association Board of Directors.  Bill serves on the Board of Directors of Foot EFX and has consulted for numerous orthotic labs around the country. 

In August 2004, Bill participated as a Pedorthic team member working at the Olympic Village in Athens, Greece.  Bill and the rest of the Pedorthic team worked along with orthopedic specialists and Podiatrists from around the world.
